The Arch-preposterous

Preposterous: Pre, before; post, after.  Putting after before, or back to front.

Arch: 1540s, “chief, principal,” from separate use of the prefix arch-, which is attested from late Old English (in archangel, archbishop, etc.). The highest, or the most.

Friend: one attached to another by feelings of personal regard and preference.  From PIE *priy-ont-, “loving,” present-participle form of root *pri- “to love.”

Someone (or something) that loves essence.  Kindred vibrations.
