They are not really meetings, they are gatherings with global participation, including attendees from Europe and South America. Every month or so The Café is open to a wider audience and a specific topic is selected for discussion.
Meetings of the Austin Gurdjieff Society are currently held online, at the same time every Sunday. When the pandemic has passed they will be held in person with online participation (hopefully). Participation is by invitation only.
The Austin Tales Study Group meets online every Tuesday evening (with few exceptions) to read a passage of approximately 10 pages from The Tales out loud and discuss the possible meanings of the words. In short, this group of people seeks to "fathom the gist."
